Block

A block is a record of transactions executed on a blockchain. It is a permanently recorded piece of data that cannot be altered or deleted. Each block is created and verified by miners, contains a certain number of transactions, and is cryptographically linked to the previous one.

Each block contains a unique code known as a hash, which distinguishes it from all others and also includes the hash of the previous block. This helps ensure the integrity and security of the blockchain, as any alteration to the data in a block would cause a change in the hash, which would be obvious.
