Circulating Supply

Circulating supply in crypto refers to the amount of coins that are currently in circulation for trading, and it indicates their potential for price appreciation or depreciation based on supply and demand.

Some cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, have a limited quantity, and mining is the only way to increase their circulation. However, creators of some more centralized tokens can, rather like central banks, boost the supply of their tokens in circulation by instantly minting more of them.

On the other hand, the technique of “burning” involves putting coins in a wallet with locked keys to reduce the amount of coins in circulation.
