Dominance
Dominance refers to the market share or percentage of the total market capitalization that a particular cryptocurrency holds.
The dominance can provide insight into the overall sentiment and health of the market. A high dominance percentage for a specific cryptocurrency, such as Bitcoin, may indicate that it is considered a safe-haven asset and is attracting a significant amount of investment. A lower dominance percentage could indicate that investors are becoming more interested in alternative cryptocurrencies, which could be a sign of a maturing market.
Dominance percentage can be affected by many factors such as volatility, price movements, market speculation, adoption, regulations and more.
