IDO

An Initial DEX Offering (IDO) is a type of initial coin offering (ICO) or initial exchange offering (IEO) that takes place on a decentralized exchange (DEX) platform. IDOs have become popular in recent years as a way for new cryptocurrency projects to raise capital and distribute their tokens to investors.

Unlike traditional ICOs or IEOs, which are typically conducted on centralized cryptocurrency exchanges, IDOs take place on decentralized platforms such as Uniswap, PancakeSwap, or Sushiswap. In an IDO, the cryptocurrency project provides liquidity to the DEX platform, and investors can buy the project’s tokens directly from the DEX’s liquidity pool using a compatible wallet, such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet.
