Cryptocurrency Pair

A pair refers to the trading pair or currency pair that is being traded on an exchange. A trading pair consists of two cryptocurrencies or tokens that are being traded against each other. In a trading pair, the base cryptocurrency is the one that appears first, and the quote cryptocurrency is the one that appears second.

For example, on a crypto exchange, a popular trading pair is BTC/USD. This means that Bitcoin (BTC) is being traded against the US dollar (USD). Another example could be ETH/BTC, which means Ethereum (ETH) is being traded against Bitcoin (BTC).

Crypto pairings are a crucial component of cryptocurrency trading since they let traders profit from changes in the market and fluctuations between various cryptocurrencies. Traders can profit from price disparities or shifts in the market by trading one cryptocurrency for another in a trading pair.
