Phishing
Phishing is a type of online fraud in which a cybercriminal poses as a legitimate entity, such as a cryptocurrency exchange or wallet provider, in order to trick people into giving away sensitive information, such as passwords or private keys. This information can then be used to gain unauthorized access to the victim’s account or steal their crypto assets.
Phishing attacks are typically delivered through email or social media, and are designed to look like they are coming from a legitimate source. They may include a link to a fake login page or a request for personal information, such as a password or private key.
