Rekt
“Rekt” is a slang term used in crypto community to describe a situation where an individual or group has suffered a significant loss on their investment or trade. The term is a shorthand version of the word “wrecked” and is often used to describe a situation where someone has lost a large amount of money due to a bad trade or market downturn.
Investors and traders may lose money when trading cryptocurrencies for a variety of reasons, including market volatility, trading mistakes, hacks or scams, and technical problems with exchanges or wallets. When traders use excessive leverage, put too much money into one asset, or can’t effectively manage the risk, it might result in a “rekt” situation.
