Scammer

A scammer is someone who uses deceptive or fraudulent practices to steal money or valuables from people. Scammers can operate through a variety of channels, such as email, social media or phone calls, and they often use false identities or misleading information to gain people’s trust.

In crypto context, a scammer is a person or business that engages in dishonest or fraudulent acts to steal assets from investors. Ponzi schemes, false initial coin offers (ICOs), fake exchanges or wallets, and phishing assaults are just a few of the many ways cryptocurrency scammers might operate.
