X11 Algorithm
X11 is a widely used algorithm for mining cryptocurrencies, particularly altcoins. It was developed by Evan Duffield in 2014 as part of the Dash cryptocurrency, and has since been adopted by a number of other cryptocurrencies, including PIVX, XVG, and XRP.
X11 is a hashing algorithm that uses a combination of eleven different cryptographic algorithms, including SHA-3, BLAKE, and Keccak, in a chained sequence. This chaining process is designed to make the X11 algorithm more secure and resistant to hacking and ASIC mining.
