Public Blockchain

A public blockchain is a decentralized (DeFi), transparent blockchain network that is accessible to the general public. Anyone can join, validate transactions, and keep a copy of the blockchain in this distributed ledger system. Bitcoin and Ethereum are two examples of cryptocurrencies that frequently utilize public blockchains.

Some key features of public blockchains are: decentralization, transparency, permissionless Access, security and native tokens.

Public blockchains are optimal for applications that need openness and a decentralized network, because they provide a high level of transparency and trustlessness.
